Mike Burgan - Director and Founder

In 2001 Mike retired from a successful career as a financial director in the electronics industry.

An ex colleague requested assistance in controlling a new business and Burgan Consulting was formed.

The client base grew from personal recommendations and in March 2005 it was incorporated.

Since then it has specialised in advice to SME’s and New Start-ups, offering expertise in financial control, personal and corporate taxation, supply and installation of packaged business software.

Simon graduated from Bristol University, is an Ocean Yacht Master and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He has a broad experience of management and financial control in the construction, engineering, retail, tourism and service industries.

In recent years Simon has concentrated on developing his knowledge of business information systems.

Burgan Consulting now places a much greater emphasis on providing financial systems consultation, particularly relating to Sage X3.
